The Hotel George & Irene sits on a small hill just opposite the lively Ios village. At night you can relax after a hard day at the beach and enjoy a cool drink whilst watching the sun go down. So far the record for "probably just a night or two" was set in 2003 by an Aussie who ended up staying for 42 nights! The fact that the hotel enjoys a large communal balcony with BBQ facilities is a massive bonus, as a friendly atmosphere is ideal for small groups to get to meet each other and everyone is encouraged to join in the fun.
